Changing Position Titles Answered
When you change a position title you should be required (or at least be able to) select the date this title took effect.
Otherwise the history is off. Particularly if for any reason the position title was not changed the day the title change took effect.

Thanks for taking time in submitting your feedback about the position history option provided under the Position Title field.
The information provided for the history is mainly based on the audit of the records when the position was added/modified for the employee record. After much feedback received we have decided to pull down this link from our portal which will happen in 3 weeks time in the next release. We will definitely consider your feedback in designing this much better in future.
