Org Chart Update alert needed for after an employee has gone Answered

When an employee is terminated, the system should create an alert that the Org Chart needs updating.

Employee is still showing in the Org chart, even after being terminated. Why is that?

    Hi PeoplenCuluture,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback. The org Chart functionality is to identify the overall structure of the organisation and is driven by the worker records and not by positions. 

    So, when an employee terminates, we don't want to remove the employee from the org chart as it will disturb the rest of the structure. The best way would be to highlight or flag that the employee is terminated on the Org chart. 

    We have created a backlog item to address highlighting of the terminated employee on the org chart. Features that are highly requested or voted by our community will be shortlisted for priority development.
