Multipliers and Weightings - OPR

Overview

Multipliers (Weightings) allows organisations to give certain KRA's, KRA Groups or Objectives a higher value or multiplier than other KRA's or Objectives.

In enableHR, on the employee record, this is called the Combined Total Score.  The Combined Total is the highest possible score that can be achieved during a performance review for the employee, if they were to receive maximum marks for each assessable KRA or Objective.

The Weighted Score is dependent on the Multiplier value.

Maximum Score × Multiplier = Maximum Weighted Score

Multipliers (Weightings) can be applied on the following:

  1. Overall KRA Group
  2. Key Result Area or Objective on an employee record

Please note: To access the Online Performance Administration functionality, a User needs the Online Performance Review Admin Access Role.

 

Apply a Multiplier to an overall KRA Group

  1. Navigate to the Performance Reviews Administration (Account Settings > Performance Reviews Administration)
  2. Select the Grouping tab
  3. Select the desired Group to be managed or updated and click 'Edit'
  4. Update the Multiplier value(s) as desired and click 'Update'

Apply a Multiplier to a KRA or Objective & Development Goal on an Employee Record

  1. Navigate to the Employee's record
  2. Navigate to their 'Performance Review' tab
  3. Select the 'Multipliers and Weightings' tab
  4. Click 'Manage multipliers'
  5. Select the KRA(s) or Objective(s) and enter the desired multiplier value
  6. Click the 'Update multipliers' button

Note: A Personal Objective is not part of any performance review. It is for the employee's own goals and development and will not be assessed. Weightings can only be applied on a Strategic Objective and an Operational Objective
