User: How to reset your User password

If you’re unable to log in to the enableHR portal or the self-service (eSS) portal, you can reset your password yourself by following the steps below.

🔎 Quick Steps

  1. Go to the login page:

  2. Enter the username and hit Next
  3. Click Forgot password?

  4. Enter your username or email.

  5. Check your contact email for the OTP and enter it.

  6. Create a new password, then log in.

📝 Detailed Instructions

Step 1: Open Your Browser

Open your preferred browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge recommended).

Step 2: Go to the Login Page

Enter the Username and hit 'Next'

Step 3: Select "Forgot password?"

On the login screen with both Ssername and Password, click Forgot password? (just above the Log in button).

Step 4: Enter Your Account Details

Enter your username. Check 'reCAPTCHA' box. Click on ‘Reset Password’. If you cannot remember you username, it is most likely to be your email address or employee ID.

Step 5: Verify Your Identity

You’ll receive a One-Time Passcode (OTP) sent to your registered contact email.

  • Look for an email titled: “Verification Code for Password Reset”.

  • The OTP is valid for a short time (usually 5–10 minutes).

Step 6: Enter the OTP

Enter the OTP from your email, then click Verify.

Step 7: Create a New Password

Once verified, create your new password.

  • Follow the password rules shown on screen (e.g., minimum length, special characters, numbers).

  • Confirm your new password and click Submit.

Step 8: Log In

You’ll see a confirmation message that your password was reset successfully.
Return to the login page and sign in using your new password.

⚠️ Important Note

With the new Azure B2C authentication system, account administrators and managers can no longer reset your password on your behalf. Each user must complete the reset process themselves using their registered contact email.

🚨 Troubleshooting

  • Didn’t receive the OTP?

    • Check your spam/junk folder.

    • Make sure you’re checking the correct registered contact email.

    • If your OTP expired, request a new one.

  • No access to your contact email?

    • You won’t be able to reset your password without it. Please contact your HR or IT support team for assistance.

✅ Tip

Keep your contact email address up to date in your profile to avoid login issues in the future.
