Default Super Fund
This article outshines the standard functionality for providing flexibility for employee’s when trying to add their super fund option. Admins can now set-up company’s default super fund selections. Employees can choose to add company’s default super fund option as their superannuation fund in eSS.
Functionality Overview
1. Set-up company's default super fund (Account Admins Only)
Admin users can set company’s default super fund via:
Settings > Account Settings > Setup Options > Super Fund Options
- Select the super fund option from the drop-down list, click Save
- Saved selection should show you Super fund name, USI and ABN details
2. Select company’s default super fund (Employees and Candidates)
Employees and candidates can manage their own ATSI demographic details through the My Details section in eSS via:
Settings > Account Settings > Setup Options > Super Fund Options
- Select the checkbox option Prefill Default Super Fund Details (This checkbox is optional, you can also manually add and save the form details)
Once you have selected the checkbox, it will auto-populate all the fields in the form and the form will become read-only
- Unselect the checkbox or click on Delete button to clear the auto-populated values and make the form editable
- Click Update super details button to save your manual/auto-populated values
- Either you or your account admin can update your Member Number once your superannuation account is setup
- Prefill Default Super Fund Details option is only available for Regulated fund type
