From acknowledging policies and issuing company-wide mandatory training to issuing and receiving signed contracts, you can now begin using Employee Self-Service, also known as eSS. Having a secure and accessible portal where your employees can log in to view and update information means you (or your HR team, if you have one) can offload a range of responsibilities. Say goodbye to constantly answering the same email queries or chasing employees for information and focus on the high-level HR tasks that really matter.

This feature is new and has been designed to boost employee engagement and safeguard businesses. Compliance Training Centre offers a range of courses that have been curated by a team of workplace relations experts and is in addition to the RTO training the ARA also provides you . These courses are available for varying levels within a business, including employees, line managers, and WHS officers.

One of the most important courses all employers should be across is the Respect@Work training. As you may already know, the introduction of the Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect at Work) Act 2022 (the Act) means all employers now have a direct obligation to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace. This amendment has put in place a firm set of standards that businesses cannot ignore, and as an employer, you must begin:

  1. Updating your Contracts of Employment and Policies;
  2. Creating a reporting culture to identify potential issues at an early stage; and
  3. Implement regular training and development for all workers. 

Inside the Compliance Training Centre feature, you can access Respect@Work training for all of your employees, strengthening your compliance obligations.
